High Speed Assembly
Certain products lend themselves to the economies of ultra high speed assembly. Shown here is just a small sampling of parts run at production rates of up to 2,000 parts per minute. This is a four-fold increase over what our competitors have declared to be the absolute production performance limits for automatic assemblies of this kind. Some of our customers have experienced a six to ten-fold increase in manufacturing throughput with our machines.

Assembly Speed Limitations
How much speed is practical or possible for an assembly application? It depends on the parts and how they are handled. Also, how much is economically viable in the development process? The nail and washer assembly could conceivably run at a rate of 3,500 parts per minute, but was scaled back to 1,700 parts per minute in order to accommodate current feed system technology.

We have applied the high-speed rotary press technology to assemble nails, washers, automotive water pump seals, bolts, O-rings, plastic caps, and pipettes. Perhaps we can help you find a solution to your assembly process.

Benefits of our high-speed machines include:

  • Assembly at 200-3500 parts per minute, depending on application
  • Motion trackers sense jammed parts or absence of expected part
  • Automatic jam-clear motor reversing feature ensures continuous operation
  • Inspection systems provide 100% verification of proper assembly
  • Solid workmanship ensures long-lasting functionality
  • Machines are built to U.S. or European CE standards
